Getting to Saint-Petersburg University

Saint-Petersburg is easily accessed by air, bus or train. In order to get Saint-Petersburg Universityyou have to  reach the metro:
  • from the international airport Pulkovo-2 you can take the bus № 13 or shuttle-buses № K3, K13, K213 to the metro station "Moskovskaya";
  • from the bus station you can take one of the buses № 15, 74 or 76 to the metro station "Ligovsky Prospect";
  • also Saint-Petersburg is served by four main railway stations ("Baltijsky", "Finlyandsky", "Ladozhsky" and "Moskovsky") and all of them have the overlapping metro stations.

By metro you can get to the metro station "Nevsky prospect" and then you can take the bus № 7 or trolleybuses № 1, 10, 11 to get to SPbSU campus (bus stop called "Universitetskaya naberezhnaya").

Please, keep in mind that on the day of border crossing or next working day you must register you arrival.



How to use public transport in Saint-Petersburg

In Saint-Petersburg there are several kinds of public transport: trolleybus, tram, bus, metro. To go by metro you should buy a token for one trip or a special card for one or several trips. In trolleybuses, buses or trams you should make a payment for your trip to a special person called "Konduktor". As a student you can buy a student travel card for all kinds of public transport.

There are also plenty of shuttle-buses in Saint-Petersburg that can take you to any place of the city. In shuttle-buses you can't use your student card and you are to make your payment to the driver. If you want to get off the shuttle-bus, you should ask the driver in advance to stop where you need.
