В Санкт-Петербургском университете продолжается прием заявок на участие в программах обмена с зарубежными вузами. В рамках информационной встречи обучающиеся узнали, какие шаги необходимо предпринять для того, чтобы отправиться на учебу в другую страну.

Конкурс среди студентов СПбГУ на участие в краткосрочной образовательной поездке в Федеративную Республику Германия (Университет имени Гельмута Шмидта – Гамбургский Университет ВС ФРГ)

Открыт прием заявок на участие в краткосрочной образовательной поездке в Федеративную Республику Германия «Auf den Spuren der deutschen Kulturgeschichte», которая пройдет в период со 2 по 9 мая 2018 года (предварительная дата проведения программы, возможна незначительная корректировка сроков визита по решению принимающей стороны). Отбор проводится на конкурсной основе.

В Санкт-Петербургском университете завершилась ориентационная неделя для иностранных студентов, приехавших в СПбГУ по программам академического обмена. Финальным аккордом череды ознакомительных мероприятий стал вечер интернациональной кухни.

Информационная встреча по участию в программах академической мобильности

Уважаемые студенты!

11 сентября в 17:30 в Петровском зале здания Двенадцати коллегий пройдет информационная встреча для обучающихся СПбГУ, посвященная дополнительному Конкурсу на участие в программах академической мобильности.

Координатор исходящей академической мобильности СПбГУ Киреев Максим Александрович (328-75-62, m.a.kireev@spbu.ru) подробно расскажет о процедуре подачи конкурсной заявки, порядке оценки конкурсных заявок, возможностях получения стипендии и ответит на вопросы.

Конкурс среди студентов СПбГУ на участие в краткосрочной образовательной поездке в Японию

Уважаемые студенты!

Открыт прием заявок на участие в краткосрочной образовательной поездке в Японию, которая пройдет в период со 2 по 16 декабря 2017 года (предварительная дата проведения программы, возможна корректировка сроков визита по решению организации-партнера программы компании «Мицуи энд Ко. Лтд»). Отбор проводится на конкурсной основе.

Exchange Stays at Freie Universität Berlin

Saint Petersburg University has joined forces with four universities worldwide in building a new University Alliance for Sustainability. The project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and will focus on sustainability as a comprehensive topic for collaborating in research, teaching, and campus management.

The University Alliance for Sustainability will use the partners’ complementary strengths to develop joint research and teaching projects, offer exchange options for faculty, staff, and students, and foster inter-institutional learning with regard to management issues. Funding will also be available for research stays for researchers, summer schools for PhD students, conferences on the topic of “Green Campus” for management personnel, and several study and internship abroad options.

For 2017, the University Alliance for Sustainability will offer the following exchange schemes for study and research stays with a focus on sustainability and sustainable development at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. Please note that the exchanges under the current call have to be completed in 2017, a separate call for the following years will be issued in November each year.

Freie Universität Berlin has also released a call for applications for study and research stays at Saint Petersburg University. If you would like to invite someone from Freie Universität Berlin, please direct them to this call for possible funding.

Funding lines

  • Junior Researchers‘ Stays

Eligibility               Doctoral students

Duration      :        max. 2 months in Berlin

Funding:              travel costs (€ 275 lump sum)

Objectives:           research on own PhD subject with a focus on sustainability

Quantity:               2 scholarships for 2017

  • Student Research and Study Stays

Eligibility               Bachelor’s and Master’s students

Duration      :        max. 3 months in Berlin

Funding:              travel costs (€ 275 lump sum)

Objectives:           study abroad, research projects or internships at Freie Universität Berlin on the topic of sustainability

Quantity:               3 scholarships for 2017

Regarding internships: these places are provided upon request and are subject to availability. Internships with research groups (e.g. in labs) need to be organized by the respective professors. Internships in our unit are possible upon request – we have a few projects running (also during the summer) which might be of interest to students. However, here we need to be in touch with interested students first and see if their background and interests fit the potential internship project.

Depending on the interests, language skills and background of the student we have projects in the following areas:

 

-         Sustainability management

o   Statistics and data management regarding sustainability in research, teaching and publications

o   Designing communication strategies for sustainability related content

o   Developing an online communications concept

o   Research on various topics in the field

-         Energy Management

o   Gain insights into energy management at FUB including energy efficiency measures and energy data bases => support in those areas

-         International Cooperation

o   (depending on the time of the stay) support in event management and organization of two international workshops in the field of sustainability teaching and sustainable campus management

For your internal information only:

FUB released this call in November 2016 with an application deadline middle of January 2017. The selection process will be completed beginning of February and all partners will be informed about incoming students.

Applications shall be in English, no longer than four pages, and handed in electronically. We have listed the following general selection criteria (but feel free to use a scheme that fits your own university):

  • clearly formulated plan and goals of the activity
  • project’s relevance to the field of Sustainability or Sustainable Development
  • project’s inter- and transdisciplinary relevance (including participative and innovative techniques and methods
  • if a project uses the universities themselves as a topic for research, this is considered a plus

We have also asked for the following information:

  • written overview of the planned project and its relevance to the issue at hand
  • Letter of motivation drawing on the following questions:

o       How does the UAS exchange relate to your studies/research or work?

o       How do you imagine your role as ambassador for the UAS at the partner university and your home institution?

  • timeframe and detailed budget calculation
  • invitation by the partner university or proof that there is a contact between the two
  • for researchers: Written endorsement statement of respective faculty/department
  • for students: Transcript of records, confirmation of enrollment
  • bank account details, full private address
