«Experiencing China» Summer School 2017, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China

Tsinghua University was established in 1911, originally under the name “Tsinghua Xuetang”. The school was renamed "Tsinghua School" in 1912. The university section was founded in 1925. The name “National Tsinghua University” was adopted in 1928.

The Tsinghua University greatly valued the interaction between Chinese and Western cultures, the sciences and humanities, the ancient and modern.

The Experiencing China – Tsinghua Summer School 2017 will run from July 16th - 28th 2017, lasting       2 weeks. This program was launched in 2016 and has provided 141 students from 26 countries a great platform to explore key aspects of China and promoted mutual understanding between Chinese and international students. This two-week summer program offers a series of keynote lectures in China's economy, environment, international relations and history by leaders at the forefront of their respective fields; team projects, site visits and round-table discussions facilitated by a star team of multidisciplinary tutors; and a wide range of cultural activities on campus and in the city. The program will culminate in a forum to be designed and facilitated by students themselves. The forum will exhibit their discoveries and insights in China, and promote their collaborative problem-solving proposals developed during the program.

Who can apply?  Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Postgraduates.

- Above 18 years old, be currently attending college/university; and in good health

- Have proof of proficiency in English (required of non-English native speaking students, scores of TOEFL, GRE, or IELTS serve as reference)

INTSYS 2017 Conference – “Intelligent Transport Systems: From research and development to the market uptake”, Summit in Helsinki

University of Žilina (UNIZA) has announced about changes around the INTSYS 2017 conference – “Intelligent Transport Systems: From research and development to the market uptake”.

INTSYS 2017 has been postponed. It will be held as a collocated event of the Smart Cities 360 summit in Helsinki.

 

 

The INTSYS conference days are now 29-30.11. 2017, while the summit will be held on 29.11. - 01.12.2017.

Intensive 10-day Summer programme for Bachelor in Laws or Economics, University of Antwerp, Belgium

The Summer School of University of Antwerp will take place from Augus 21 to September 01, 2017

What:  Intensive 10-day programme on companies crossing borders; exploring various legal domains on the basis of a take-over case.

Where: Stadscampus, University of Antwerp, Belgium 

Who:  Students with at least a degree of Bachelor in Laws or Economics or with similar competences (to be assessed on a case-by-case basis) are eligible for this summer school. Good command of English.

Registration fee: €600 

Application details:  Online before 1 June (non EU-nationals) 

Credits: 3 ECTS credits are awarded upon successful completion of the programme.
